  • (2 medium) yams
  • (3 cups) vanilla yogurt
  • (1 cup) milk
  • (2 cups) ice cubes
  • (1 tsp.) white sugar
  • (1) ripe banana, sliced

Vanilla Yam Smoothie

Soft yams blended with vanilla yogurt and ice for a creamy frozen breakfast drink.

    Instructions

  1. 1Place yams on a microwave-safe plate. Prick each one all over with a fork and microwave on High 8-10 minutes. Set aside to cool. Once cool, peel and dice.
  2. 2Blend yams, yogurt, milk, ice cubes, sugar and banana in a blender until smooth. Serve and enjoy.
