Ingredients:

  • (3 1/2 ounces) baby clams, drained or shrimp, peeled
  • (1/2 cup) canned crushed tomatoes
  • (1/2 tsp.) dried oregano leaves
  • (1/2 tsp.) extra-virgin olive oil
  • (2 oz.) Nutrition Kitchen Angel Hair Style Golden Whole Soybean Pasta
  • (1-2 tsp.) grated reduced-fat Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of red-pepper flakes
  • Salt

Seafood Pasta w/Red Sauce

This pasta is as tasty as any restaurant but better because you control the nutrition.

    Instructions

  1. 1Fill a large pot with one quart of cold water and heat over high heat until it comes to a rolling boil.
  2. 2Meanwhile, spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat it over medium heat.
  3. 3Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 4 minutes.
  4. 4Add the shrimp or clams, cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. 5Reduce heat, then add tomatoes, oregano, oil, and red-pepper flakes. Stir to combine and let simmer 3-5 minutes.
  6. 6When the water boils, add the pasta and cook for about 3 minutes, or as directed on the package.
  7. 7 Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Stir to combine. Serve with grated Parmesan.
