Ingredients:
  • (3/4 cup) white whole wheat flour or whole wheat
    pastry flour
  • (3/4 tsp.) baking soda
  • Salt
  • (1 cup) Omega-3-enriched peanut butter
  • (1/3 cup) Splenda brown sugar blend
  • (1) egg, beaten
  • (1/2 cup) fat-free milk
  • (1 tsp.) vanilla extract
  • (1/2 cup) bittersweet chocolate chips

Rich and delicious peanut butter bars loaded with bittersweet chocolate chips.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8×8 in. baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. 2In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt. In a separate medium bowl, mix together peanut butter, sugar and egg until creamy. Stir in milk and vanilla
    extract.
  3. 3Gradually add dry ingredients, stir until combined. Add chocolate chips, stir.
  4. 4Spread batter in greased dish. Bake 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes, cut and serve.
