  • (16 oz.) Italian cheese-flavored pizza crust
  • (2 Tbsp.) cornstarch
  • (12 oz. can) evaporated fat-free milk
  • (1 clove) garlic, minced
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) black pepper
  • (1 lb.) small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • (2 1/2 cups) sliced mushrooms
  • (3 cups) chopped spinach
  • (1/2 tsp.) dried oregano
  • (1/2 tsp.) dried basil
  • (1/2 cup) part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • (1/2 cup) sharp provolone cheese, grated



Italian Shrimp Pizza

An Italian cheese crust topped with a white cream sauce, sauteed shrimp, mushrooms, wilted spinach and two kinds of cheese.

  1. 1Preheat oven to 425°F. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet.
  2. 2Place a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together cornstarch, milk and garlic, bring to a boil. When boiling, stir constantly for 1 minute. Add salt and pepper, pour over
  3. 3Spray a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and place it over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, saute 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, saute 2 minutes.
  4. 4Add spinach, stir until combined, cook another minute. Drain mixture, then spoon it over the sauce.
  5. 5Top pizza with oregano, basil, mozzarella and provolone, bake 8 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
