  • (1 cup) rolled oats
  • (1 cup) wheat flakes
  • (1 cup) sunflower seeds or chopped nuts
  • (1/2 cup) honey
  • (1 cup) dried cranberries
  • Pinch of salt

Honey Oat Bars

Toasted oat bars with a sticky honey coating and sweet dried cranberries.

Preparation Time

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9 in. pie pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2Place oats, wheat flakes and seeds on a baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes.
  3. 3Meanwhile, place a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 cup honey and cook 2-4 minutes without stirring.
  4. 4Pour oats into honey, stir in cranberries and salt. Transfer to greased pan and press into an even layer. Cool 30 minutes, then cut. Serve when cool.
