  • (1 Tbsp.) extra-virgin olive oil
  • (2 tsp.) ground cumin
  • (1 tsp.) dried marjoram
  • (1/4 tsp.) ground allspice
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt

Canned chickpeas tossed in a mixture of warm spices then baked until crispy.

    Instructions

  1. 1With oven rack in upper third position, preheat to 450°F.
  2. 2In a small bowl, toss chickpeas with oil, cumin, marjoram, allspice and salt. Place on a rimmed baking sheet in an even layer. Bake 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3Cool 15 minutes and serve.
