  • (8 oz.) uncooked small pasta shells
  • (2 cups) frozen peas
  • (1 cup) celery, thinly sliced
  • (1/2 cup) sweet red pepper, chopped
  • (1/4 cup) onion, chopped
  • (2/3 cup) fat-free mayonnaise
  • (1 Tbsp.) white balsamic vinegar
  • (1 Tbsp.) fresh basil, minced (or 1 tsp. dried)
  • (1 tsp.) Dijon mustard
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) pepper

A shell pasta salad with green peas in an herb mustard dressing.

  1. 1Fill a large pot with 2 quarts cold water, place over high heat to boil. Once boiling, add pasta and cook 8-10 minutes or according to package.
  2. 2During the last 2-3 minutes, add the peas and continue to cook, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, basil, mustard, salt and pepper in a
    large bowl.
  3. 3Drain pasta and peas, rinse under cold water until completely cool. Add to dressing, toss to caot. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour, up to overnight. Serve and enjoy!
