  • (3/4 cup) nonfat cottage cheese
  • (1/4 cup) reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • (2 Tbsp.) buttermilk powder
  • (2 Tbsp.) white-wine vinegar
  • (1/4 cup) nonfat milk
  • (1 Tbsp.) fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) freshly ground pepper
  • (6 cups) mixed, salad
  • (1 cup) shredded carrots
  • (2 Tbsp.) red onion, chopped
  • (10) cherry tomatoes
  • (4 slices) roast turkey breast, cut into chunks
  • (2 slices) reduced-fat Swiss cheese, cut into chunks



Colorful Chefs Salad

A beautiful and delicious chefs salad with turkey, vegetables and cheese in a buttermilk dill dressing.

  1. 1To prepare dressing, put the lid on the food processor and turn it on. Add shallot through food chute with processor running until finely chopped.
  2. 2Process cottage cheese, mayonnaise, buttermilk powder and vinegar with shallots for about 3 minutes, or
    until smooth.
  3. 3Pour milk through food chute with processor running, then turn it off and scrape the sides. Add dill, salt and pepper, pulse until smooth; transfer 1/4 cup to a large bowl.
  4. 4Add greens, carrots and onion to bowl, toss until coated. Portion out, top with tomatoes, turkey and
    cheese, serve.
