Ingredients:
  • (3 1/2 cups) plain or vanilla soy milk
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (2 cups) rolled oats
  • (1/4 cup) pure maple syrup
  • (1/3 cup) raisins
  • (1/3 cup) dried cranberries
  • (1/3 cup) sweetened flaked coconut
  • (1/3 cup) walnuts, chopped
  • (8 oz. container) plain yogurt, optional
  • (3 Tbsp.) honey, optional

Coconut Walnut Oats

Rolled oats boiled in soy milk and maple syrup with dried fruit, crunchy walnuts and sweet coconut.

Cook Time

About 10 minutes

    Instructions

  1. 1Place a medium saucepan over High heat. Add milk and salt. When boiling, add oats, maple syrup, raisins and cranberries. Bring back to a boil and cook on medium 5 minutes.
  2. 2Add walnuts and coconut, set aside until desired consistency. Serve with yogurt and honey on top, if desired. Enjoy!
