  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1 cup) butter, softened
  • (3/4 cup) granulated sugar

  • (1/3 cup) hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
  • (3/4 cup) hazelnut-chocolate spread



Chocolate Hazelnut Sandwiches

Chocolate hazelnut spread sandwiched between chocolate cookies with toasted hazelnuts.

  1. 1In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt, set aside.
  2. 2In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium to beat together butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Continue to beat on low while adding flour mixture, beat until
  3. 3Preheat oven to 350°F. Measure out 1/2 tsp. dough for each cookie and form into balls. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Dip a glass with a flat bottom in granulated sugar and use it to press each cookie down.
  4. 4Top half of cookies with hazelnuts and bake 9-10 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
  5. 5When cool, flip plain cookies upside down, top each with 1/2 tsp. hazelnut spread and a cookie with nuts. Serve and enjoy.
