Chocolate Dipped Almond Macaroons

Light almond macaroon cookies dipped in your choice of bittersweet or semisweet chocolate.

  1. 1Preheat oven to 300°F. Place parchment paper on 2 baking sheets.
  2. 2Place almond paste and sugar in a food processor. Process until combined, add egg whites and vanilla, pulse
    until combined.
  3. 3 Place a 1/2 in. star tip into a decorating bag. Place batter in bag and pipe 3 in. round cookies onto baking sheet. Bake 17-19 minutes, switching pan positions halfway through. Cool
    on wire racks.
  4. 4Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High 1 minute. Stir. Dip the bottom of each cookie into chocolate and place on waxed paper to set. Enjoy!
