  • (1/3 cup) walnuts, chopped
  • (1 tsp.) ground cinnamon
  • (3 1/4 cups) all-purpose flour
  • (2 tsp.) baking soda
  • (1 tsp.) baking powder
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1 1/2 cups) granulated sugar
  • (10 Tbsp.) butter, softened
  • (3/4 cup) egg substitute
  • (1 tsp.) vanilla extract
  • (1 1/2 cups) nonfat buttermilk

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 10 in. Bundt pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon, set aside.
  3. 3In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, set aside.
  4. 4Use an electric mixer on medium-high to beat together sugar and butter. Add egg substitute, beat until combined. Add vanilla and beat.
  5. 5Alternately add flour and buttermilk mixtures to sugar, starting and ending with flour and beating well after each addition.
  6. 6Layer batter and brown sugar each twice and bake 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack and serve.
