Ingredients:
  • (1/2 lb.) lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • (1 3/4 cups) fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • (1/2 medium) red onion, thinly sliced
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) pepper
  • (13.8 oz. tube) refrigerated pizza crust
  • (1/2 cup) reduced-fat sour cream
  • (2 tsp.) Italian seasoning
  • (1/2 tsp.) garlic powder
  • (3/4 cup) crumbled blue cheese

Beef and Mushroom Square Pie

An easy pizza pie with a white sauce topped with lean ground beef, mushrooms and crumbled blue cheese.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef, mushrooms and onion, cook until beef is browned. Drain, add salt and pepper.
  3. 3Meanwhile, roll dough into a 15×12 in. rectangle on a lightly floured, flat surface. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. 4Mix together sour cream, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Spread over crust, leaving a 2 in. border. Top with meat mixture, fold in all four edges, leaving a rectangle uncovered in the center.
  5. 5Bake 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown. Top with blue cheese. Cool on a wire rack 5 minutes and serve.
